Use the magic of merge fields to pull data out of thin air!

A merge field is a placeholder that gets filled in with information from your database. You’re probably familiar with using merge fields in email templates to populate your messages with a contact’s first name, property address, etc.

In Realvolve, merge fields go way beyond the basics! Here are three cool things you can create:

  1. Weekly Seller Report: Use the merge field [[Property#SellerReport-NonSentOnly]] in an email to pull in all recent notes and tasks you’ve performed for a client’s listing in the last week.
  2. New Lead Notification: When a new lead is “zapped” into your Realvolve account, you can have it trigger an automated SMS text message notification. Use WorkflowContact merge fields in that text message template so it sends you all the basic info you need to immediately reach out to the new lead. Click here for a tutorial!
  3. Request for Missing Documents: During a transaction, you might reach a point in your workflow where there is a checklist of required documents—and some of them are missing. In this situation, you can have a template on hand that uses the merge field [[Activity:Checklist#Incomplete]] to pull in the list of missing documents, allowing you to quickly shoot off an email to the buyer’s agent requesting those ASAP.

We’d love to show you more amazing ways to use the time-saving magic of merge fields.
